Planners meet this coming Monday
5/3/10The Strategic Planning Committee will meet at County Hall in Truro on March 8th at 2:00pm to consider and vote on the Council's application for listed building consent for Option A and building on Battery Rocks beach.
There will be plenty of room for members of the public to observe proceedings. The Friends of Penzance Harbour and other objectors and supporters will address the meeting.
A good turnout is important. The elected members of the committee need our support and encouragement if they are to resist Council pressure to approve the application. Please try and make it.
If you don't want to take your car there's a train from Penzance at 12:54 that gets in to Truro at 13:31. County Hall is a ten minute walk away. From the station go up the hill away from the town centre; County Hall is at the top of the hill on the other side of the roundabout.
